The United Methodist Church of Hyde Park believes that the current stress on vaccinations is proper, faithful, and the best tool forward in dealing with serious diseases. Everyone who can should be immunized. Vulnerable populations and those who are unable to be vaccinated should continue to watch from home, but if God so compels you to seek out in-person worship, please wear your mask and social distance as much as possible.
This has been the standing policy of UMCHP and will be our continuing policy.
Worship is not an option. Worship is essential and a right.
