There are many of our college students that have chosen to study at one of our many local colleges.  Several years ago, we started a new ministry to let these students know that we are thinking, and praying, for them during exams.

We collect $5 gift cards to a choice of several locations, such as Dunkin Donuts, McDonald's, Wendy's, Subway, etc.  These gift cards are enclosed with cards of encouragement and mailed to students during final exams.

The list of college students is included with the snack requests for students studying away from home.  Please let us know if your college student is studying locally or away.  If you know of any students not included on these lists, please let Beverly Broadright or Liz Langan know.

CollegeConnectionCollege Connection is a part of the Blessed Connection Ministry of our church. We stay in touch with our young college students who are away from home and church, some for the first time.

We ask for your help in providing snack/small gifts to send to them to encourage and refresh them during final exams. General suggestions are popcorn, granola bars, trail mix, cheese and peanut butter crackers, gold fish crackers, cookies and candy. You may also write notes of encouragement to your favorite students to send with the “care packages”.
